How to set up IPTV on Kodi?

What is Kodi?

Kodi is an open-source media player that is a free app and acts as a digital media center. This app allows you to play your media and transfer it between different devices, from one main location to other devices. You can use Kodi on most operating systems like Android, Microsoft Windows, Linux, iOS and devices like Amazon FireTV, smartphones, Apple TV, Xbox and PC.

Set up IPTV on Kodi

Installing Kodi is surprisingly easy. All you have to do is download Kodi, double-click the Kodi image, and then run the setup wizard. It is so easy! After installing Kodi, you can download a wide range of add-ons to enhance the experience. Here we will show you how to install IPTV on Kodi.

Part 1: Install PVR IPTV Simple Client

PVR IPTV Simple Client addon allows you to set up IPTV on your device. So let’s install the addon.

1.Launch your Kodi app.

2.Click on the settings gear in the top left, just below the Kodi logo.

4.Then click on “Install from Repository”.

5.Select “All Repositories”.

6.On the next page, scroll down and select “PVR Clients”.

7.Then scroll down further and select “PVR IPTV Simple Client”.

8.The addon dashboard will open. Select “Install”.

9.Click “OK” to install the required supporting addons.

10.The PVR IPTV Simple Client will be downloaded in your Kodi app.

11.After a few seconds the installation will begin.

12.Finally, you will see an “Add-on installed” notification at the top right of your screen.

Part 2: Add M3U Playlist to PVR IPTV Simple Client

You have successfully installed the PVR IPTV Simple Client on your Kodi app. But that’s no use if you haven’t configured it correctly. Follow the steps below to add a playlist for streaming IPTV to the addon:

1.On the same screen, select PVR IPTV Simple Client.

2.On the addon dashboard, select “Configure”.

3.Then go to the “General” tab.

4.In the “General” tab, scroll down and select “M3U Playlist URL”.

5.A window with a keyboard will appear. If you receive an M3U playlist from your IPTV provider, you can add it now. If you don’t have an IPTV subscription , you are welcome to have a subscription with us (IPTV Wereld) , we are one of the best IPTV providers in Germany

6.Click the “OK” button.

7.Quit the Kodi application and launch it again.

8.After restarting, the PVR IPTV Simple Client will start automatically.

9.The PVR addon will start loading the channels from the M3U playlist you entered. Wait for the addon to finish importing the channels.

How to watch IPTV with PVR IPTV Simple Client

After the channels are added, scroll to the TV tab in Kodi.

Then scroll to the right and click on the “Channels” option.

You will see a list of all the channels from the M3U playlist(s) that you have added.

Select any channel and after a few seconds it will start playing.

Go back and scroll down to the line that says “TV Channel Groups.” Here you can view categories of channels. The All Channels tile is another way to view the list of all available channels.

Select the “All Channels” tile.

The Movies tile lists the movie-related channels.

The “Car” tile lists all channels related to Autosport.

To search for specific channels, scroll up on the right part of the screen and select the “Search” option on the far right of the top row.

Then click on “Search…”.

Enter what you want to search for and click the Search button. Be sure to read the instructions and check the search settings so you can get the most out of the search tool.
